HSDM launches Hyundai i30

    HYUNDAI Sime Darby Motors marked a double milestone last week with the launch of the new Hyundai i30 hatchback and the opening of a new Hyundai 3S centre sited in Taman Rasa Sayang, Cheras.
    HSDM will offer two guises of the i30 comprised of the 1.8 Sport and the 1.8 Executive. Powered using the Hyundai brand's 1.8-litre Nu MPI four-cylinder petrol engine, the mill generates 148hp and 178Nm of torque in total.
    All power is transmitted to the road via a six-speed automatic transmission designed to deliver dynamic performance and high fuel efficiency. Highlights in its features list include a panoramic sunroof, a large high-resolution TFT Supervision cluster, smart keyless entry, and the three-mode Flex Steer System.
    In terms of safety, the i30 comes standard-equipped with ABS brakes plus electronic brake assists, electronic stability programme plus Hyundai's VSM, as well as six airbags in the cabin.
    Available in seven paintjob options, the i30 1.8 Executive is priced at RM127,888 whilst the i30 1.8 Sport variant fitted with an aerokit is priced at RM132,888. Prices include a five-year or 300,000km warranty plan plus 24hour road assist services.
    Available in the CLA 200 guise. Powered using a 156hp turbocharged four-cylinder derived from the A-Class, the CLA 200 also features a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Not only rich with torque which is rated at 250Nm, the mill also boasts frugal fuel economy figures rated at 5.5 litres/100km on a combined cycle.
    Other highlights in its features list include Mercedes' advanced driver assists suite comprised of the Attention Assist, Collision Prevention Assist, adaptive Brake Assist, as well as the autonomous Active Parking Assist features.
    The stylish new CLA 200 is now available for viewing and purchases at authorised dealers, carrying a starting price of RM235,888.
