KUALA LUMPUR: More than 4,000 people took part in a mass prayer ceremony at Wisma MCA yesterday for MH370, giving closure for families of passengers and crew on board.
"In facing this crisis, we do not blame each other. We do not shirk responsibility. We do not back down and we do not give up.
"Regardless of nationality, race, and religion, we will offer our prayer to the crew and passengers on board MH370 as well as our concern and support to their respective family members. This is the objective of the mass prayers today," said MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
Speaking to the media later, he said some of the Chinese families that have been in Malaysia would be returning home later in the evening, accompanied by the whole support team.
"Some of the families will be leaving tonight while some will remain here. There is no difference whether they are here or in China, as the briefings would be held the same time and carry the same information," he said.
