Six Africans, one M’sian nabbed in drug bust

KUALA LUMPUR: Police believe they have crippled an international drug smuggling syndicate with the arrest of six West African men and a nurse during a raid on Saturday.
Bukit Aman Narcotics CID director Datuk Noor Rashid Ibrahim said 10.91kg of methamphetamine worth RM2.1 million was also seized in the operation carried out by the department and a team from the Special Tactical and Intelligence Narcotics Group at about 10am.
Police first arrested the kingpin, a Nigerian aged 30, at a condominium in Cyberjaya, where the drugs were found. – Bernama
