EXPANDING on its gargantuan range of in-house products, Tesco Malaysia has expanded its offerings recently by launching a new range
of products for babies – the Tesco Loves Babyrange.
The new range comprises three product categories including diapers, wet wipes and toiletries. Besides adding value, these will further reiterate Tesco’s
commitment to providing quality products at affordable prices.
Every product in the Tesco Loves Babyrange has been carefully developed and created by Tesco’s product development team.
In “using our scale” it has allowed Tesco to work with experienced suppliers around the world to ensure Tesco products meet the required standards and quality.
Part of the selection process requires suppliers to go through stringent factory and supplier audits, guided by Tesco’s Trading Law and Technical experts.
Benchmarked against popular brands, the products are then reformulated, repackaged and reengineered to offer customers world-class quality.
“The Tesco Loves Baby range of products is developed with lots of care. All our products go through stringent tests before they hit the shelves. They will also go through our customer panel testing. Only products that pass these tests can be launched, as we care for the acceptance and preference of our customers,” said Tesco Malaysia commercial director Jason Godley.
In conjunction with the launch, Tesco Malaysia proudly introduced its local edition of the “Tesco Loves Baby Club” to Malaysians. The club is a microsite, set up to support pregnant mothers, parents and care-givers.
The highly interactive site will allow members to share tips and tricks, as well as easy methods for child caring to aid mothers and new parents. This will also serve as a valueadded experience for mothers who shop at Tesco.
Joining Tesco at the launch were mothers and babies from Pertubuhan Transformasi Pembangunan Wanita Malaysia organisation. Both adults and children enjoyed themselves participating in the activities where each parent was gifted with a hamper containing Tesco Loves Baby products for their sampling pleasure.
“We want to continue being the leading hypermarket of choice for Malaysians. Customers can now shop for their babies and for theentire family with less hassle, more value and extra convenience, online or in our stores,” said Tesco marketing director Vivian Yap.
The Tesco Loves Baby range is already on sale, currently being offered at attractive promotional prices until April 30, 2014.
