Ipoh housing developer stabbed by two men outside office

    IPOH: A housing developer was seriously injured after being stabbed by two men outside of his office yesterday evening.
    Ipoh district police chief ACP Sum Chang Keong said the victim, a 54-year-old man, sustained injuries on the left shoulder after being stabbed with a sharp weapon at 6.30pm.
    "The victim had stepped out of the office located near a restaurant here when he was approached by one of the suspects, who held a piece a paper as if to ask something from the him," he said in a statement here today.
    He said an accomplice came from behind and held the victim while the other stabbed him with a sharp weapon before fleeing in a white car.
    The suspects did not take any items from victim who was later treated at a hospital and was reported to be stable.
    Sum said the victim who was from Ipoh Garden here might have to undergo an operation.
    He said at the moment the two suspects were not known to the victim and the car registration number plate was still being investigated by police. – Bernama
