Maggot infested body found in Bukit Tengah

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The body of a man which was maggot infested was found in a drain behind a factory in Bukit Tengah here yesterday.
The corpse wrapped in a sarong was found by passers-by at 9.15am. Seberang Perai Tengah (SPT) police chief ACP Azman Abd Lah said no identity documents were found on him and police did not rule out the possibility that the man was murdered elsewhere before the body was dumped in the drain.
He urged anyone with information on the case to contact the nearest police station. The body was sent to the Bukit Mertajam Hospital for a post-mortem. – Bernama
