DPM attends wedding of driver's daughter

NILAI: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (pix) today attended the wedding reception of the daughter of his driver, Sani Arshad at the Nilai Convention Hall in Taman Semarak near here.
Muhyiddin and his wife, Puan Sri Norainee Abdul Rahman were met on arrival by Sani, 52, his wife, Azian Ismail, 41, as well as former wife, Radhiah Mohd. Yassin, 52.
They spent about 30 minutes at the reception of the newly weds, Farah Nadia Sani, 26, and her husband, Mohd Nashriq Muhamad, 31, and later performed the 'tepung tawar' as well as posed for photographs with them.
Also present was Johor State Assembly Speaker, Datuk Mohamad Aziz. Farah Nadia, the third of four siblings, is a marketing assistant of a computer company in Kuala Lumpur while her husband is a technician at Perodua company in Rawang.
Sani, who lives in Bandar Baru Nilai here has been serving as Muhyiddin's driver for over 30 years. – Bernama
