TELUK INTAN: Three Barisan Nasional (BN) members today decided to shave their heads bald to protest the DAP's dirty political tactics in the Teluk Intan parliamentary by-election campaign.
They are Rich Too Seng Shin, 31, a Penang Gerakan member; People's Progressive Party (PPP) Klang division secretary Vincent Ng Shin Chue, 33, and MCA Klang division member Thomas Chong Poh Chai, 27.
They took turns to shave each other's head today morning in front of the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan and completed the task within 15 minutes.
Too, 31,who was the spokesman for the trio, hit out at a claim by the DAP that BN had defamed its Teluk Intan by-election candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud by spreading a photograph that allegedly showed her in a bikini.
"It is definitely dirty political tactics as the photograph was spread through Facebook before the DAP announced Dyana Sofya as its candidate.
"Besides that, the photograph is not that of Dyana Sofya but of an actress from the Philippines," he told reporters today.
He urged voters to reject such dirty political tactics and support the BN candidate Datuk Mah Siew Keong.
He added that by doing so, they would also be sending a message that they were against PAS's proposal to table a private member's bill in Parliament on the implementation of hudud in Kelantan.
