Advance Synergy gets UMA query

PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia has made an unusual market activity (UMA) query on Advance Synergy Bhd over the rise in price and volume of its shares.
The company was required to disclose any corporate development, rumour or possible explanation that might have caused the sharp rise.
Advance Synergy's share price has surged for more than 50% over the past one week. It closed 7 sen higher to 26 sen yesterday, the highest level in nearly three years.
It was also the second most active stock of the day, with some 109.24 million shares changing hands.
Advance Synergy had earlier proposed to dispose off its hotel and restaurant properties, namely Alangka-Suka Paris, Holiday Villa Lafayette Paris and Legenda De Malaise for EUR10.50 million (RM46.84 million).
