Commando who shot dead colleague arrested (Updated)

    LAHAD DATU: An army commando who gunned down his colleague and injured two pub bouncers following an altercation at the town centre here was arrested by police about 12 hours after he went into hiding today.
    Sabah state police CID chief SAC Omar Mamah told theSun today with the suspect's arrest at about 4pm today, the case is considered solved.
    He said police also detained 10 other soldiers who were present during the shooting to assist in the investigations. Police also seized a firearm that was used in the incident from the suspect.
    Lance Corporal Mohd Fiffixezafey Mat Husin, 28 who was from Kelantan died of a gunshot wound to his chest minutes after being sent to a district hospital at about 4.45am.
    He was shot during a confrontation with the suspect who is in his 20s and allegedly fired several rounds from his service pistol opposite a 24-hour convenience store.
    Two bouncers aged 31 and 38 from a nearby pub who tried to break up the fight also suffered injuries after being allegedly shot by the suspect. The two were sent to the Lahad Datu Hospital for treatment.
