KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak today jokingly said he is happy that Khairy Jamaluddin is well enough so the Youth and Sports Minister will come for the cabinet meeting.
The prime minister in his latest Twitter updates to Khairy said: "@KhairyKJ glad you felt well enough to come for cabinet meeting. #MCDitolak."
Najib had shown the Twitter to Khairy, who has sent him a Twitter to apply for leave before that. Khairy in his Twitter said :"@NajibRazak Boss. I'm having fever. My body aches and I cannot get up since yesterday,"
"Sorry I can't go to work today, tomorrow I send the MC slip. #CubaNasib," said Khairy.
This morning the minister joined nearly 1,000 youths to witness the kick-off for the World Cup 2014 between Brazil and Croatia through a gigantic screen installed in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad building here.
"It's only the first day of the World Cup and many (including myself) are looking like cats (Khairy Twitter's profile picture) but adamantly refused to admit it," he added. – Bernama
