Football fans win trip of a lifetime

THE Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Gila Bola Campaign culminated with a prizegiving ceremony recently. Launched in February 2014, the campaign encouraged consistent retail deposits and usage of BSN’s alternative banking channels.
Five lucky winners were chosen, based on their consistent deposits and gradually growing accounts. They banked in at least RM100 into their savings accounts regularly. They had also either made payments for bills, deposited money in Sijil Simpanan Premium (SSP) or purchased mobile prepaid reloads via BSN’s alternative banking channels which include online banking via MyBSN, BSN’s Banking Agents (EBB) or BSN debit card for payments. All these were carried out within the duration of the campaign which ended on April 30.
The winners of the BSN Gila Bola Campaign are Jeremy Tan Jia Ming from Subang Jaya; Mohd Farish Aziz Sulaiman from Tamparuli; Ramle Md Isa from Wangsa Maju; Sharulnahar Jaafar from Johor Baru; and Nagarajah Nadarajah from Seremban. Each received allexpenses paid 4D/2N trips to Brazil which included round-trip flight tickets, airport transfers, travel allowances for meals and transportation, accommodation and other attractions.
BSN head of deposits and transactions division, Jason Tan, who presented the winners with their prizes said that the bank was overwhelmed by the response to the campaign and that its unique and convenient alternative banking have received positive feedback from its customers.
“From the campaign, BSN managed to obtain a growth of RM315 million in retail savings and is targeting additional growth of 12 per cent in deposits by end of 2014,” added Tan. The campaign also showed a positive trend with BSN customers, in using banking conveniences such as EBB and MyBSN.
