Hyundai heavy secures US$700m Hess Malaysia deal

    SEOUL: Hyundai Heavy Industries Co Ltd said yesterday it won an order worth US$700 million (RM2.24 billion) to build two gas treatment and production platforms from Hess Exploration & Production Malaysia BV, an affiliate of Hess Corp.
    The platforms are expected to be delivered by the second half of 2016. Hyundai Heavy also said that its smaller affiliate Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co Ltd won an order worth US$185 million to build six petrochemical product transport ships from US-based Alterna Capital. – Reuters
