Tangy crunchy chicken for Ramadan

WHEN it comes to their chicken-on-the-bone KFC stands tall with their Original recipe and the many other variants they comes up with from time to time. The latest is the KFC Tangy Crunch Chicken, which has been available since June 20.
This new Tangy Crunch chicken is hot and spicy with an extra tang from the lime. This is due to its marinate (which is a secret) that is a combination of various spices and some lime to give it that extra kick.
“The hero in this creation would be the lime. it provides the tanginess that suits the crunchy fried chicken. This creation is a new taste widely recommended for those who have adventurous taste buds,” said Ling Mee Jiuan, senior vice president, KFC Malaysia.
“As Ramadan approaches, we are glad to be able to offer something different for our fans to enjoy during buka puasa with their friends and families. The Tangy crunch will still be around on Hari Raya for all to indulge in the company of their loves ones, “ Ling added.
The last new chicken-on-the-bone item that KFC introduced to this market was the Crazy Crunch in November last year.
The chicken is very crunchy on the outside and the spice is not too overwhelming. The lime gets you on the side of the tongue making you want to have another bite of chicken.
KFC is offering customers several special combo options when they buy the new Tangy Crunch chicken. Combo A includes two pieces of Tangy Crunch Chicken, four pieces of potato hash-rounds, one colonel rice, one colonel soup, and one regular ice lemon tea. Combo B includes three pieces of Tangy crunch chicken, one regular cheezy wedges, one piece of butterscotch bun, and one regular ice lemon tea,
The Tangy feast is perfect for a group of four to five people and comes with nine pieces of chicken, along with all the sides at only RM39.90.
The celebration buckets - six pieces with all the sides or 15 pieces with all the sides. Both sets come with one Doraemon travel blanket that comes in six attractive designs and colours.
