Service your Singer sewing machine for charity

PETALING JAYA: Besides the host of items being offered at special prices, Singer Malaysia Sdn Bhd will contribute proceeds from the servicing of sewing machines this weekend to the theSun-Mercy Malaysia Bosnia Flood Disaster Relief Fund.
Singer's Special Weekend Sales in aid of Bosnia over the last two weekends have been a hit, especially as it is for charity.
Among the hot-selling items are the Singer BY-8WBC insect killer, offered at just RM19.90 instead of its usual price of RM59, and the Singer AS38 electric air steriliser, which is selling for RM199 instead of RM350. Singer will contribute 50% of the proceeds from sales of these two items to the Bosnia fund.
The company is also offering 20 items, which include a 32-inch Akai LCD television, Edifier multimedia speakers and air mist neutralisers, for which 100% of the proceeds will be channeled to the fund.
Eighteen more items, which include a water ioniser for just RM999 and Claytan dinner and tea sets, are also on sale, for which 30% of the proceeds will be contributed to the fund.
The weekend sales are held at the Singer building at Lot 6, Jalan 51/217, Petaling Jaya from 10am to 5pm.
