Spice up buka puasa at Dorsett Grand Subang

THIS Ramadan, Dorsett Grand Subang is featuring a variety of dishes for buka puasa from three different dining venues in the hotel.
At both the Terazza Brasserie and Melati room, diners can indulge in a buffet of ­local and international ­cuisines served daily from 6pm to 9.30pm while The Emperor Chinese restaurant is offering buka puasa sets throughout this holy month.
At the buffet tables, there are over 80 varieties of both local and ­international Muslim dishes served with daily menu changes.
The highlights at the Terazza Brasserie buffet are the scrumptious gearbox soup, a wide selection of ­appetizers such as kerabu mangga, kerabu daging a la Thai, jeruk betik, jeruk mangga as well as traditional and western dishes such as briyani gam, fried meehoon Siam, rendang ayam kampung, rusuk kambing ­vindaloo, roasted beef with ­mushroom sauce and chilli crab.
Dessert includes traditional ­favourites such as badak berendam, onde-onde, bubur pulut hitam, penget keledek and assorted fruit jellies.
Terazza also has its very own Kopi Kart that features all-time ­favourite Malaysian drinks such as teh tarik.
The buffet at Terazza Brasserie is priced at RM120++ per person. Senior citizens and children aged from six to 12 years enjoy a 50% discount. Diners also stand a chance to win special prizes in the daily lucky draw.
Located two floors up at the ­mezzanine floor, the Warna-Warni Ramadan buffet at Melati offers ­almost a similar buffet spread as Terazza but with the added presence of renowned celebrity chef Jaafar Onn every night throughout the promotion period at his action station whipping up a storm of ­traditional Malay cuisine delights for guests.
Besides showing off his culinary skills, chef Jaafar will also be ­displaying his singing prowess on classic Malay hits ­together with ­songstress Haiza nightly.
The Warna-Warni Melati is priced at RM110++ per person with 50% discount for senior citizens and children aged from six to 12 years. There is also a daily lucky draw.
Meanwhile, The Emperor is ­offering three Buka Puasa sets, each featuring different signature dishes such as stir-fried shrimp Medan-style, stir-fried diced chicken with dry chilli and cashewnuts and tomyam chicken soup.
Along with each set, the pork-free restaurant is also serving an ­assortment of Malay kuih-muih.
