Celcom Axiata announces management changes

    PETALING JAYA: Celcom Axiata Bhd has reshuffled its top management team with new key appointments and movements in a bid to further strengthen its corporate and overall operational management team.
    Celcom Axiata in a statement yesterday announced the appointments of Zuraida Jamaluddin as its new chief corporate officer and Suresh Sidhu as edotco CEO.
    Edotco is a communications infrastructure solutions & services company, under the Axiata group.
    Zuraida will oversee the corporate initiatives in Celcom besides strengthening and unifying the capabilities of the organisation as a whole. Suresh, meanwhile, will work towards establishing edotco as a world-class infrastructure company in the region.
    Celcom Axiata also announced the appointment of Afizulazha Abdullah as the chief business services & solutions officer; Datuk Noor Kamarul Anuar Nuruddin as the chief customer experience program officer; Jefri Ahmad Tambi as the chief corporate communications & government liaison officer.
    Celcom CEO Datuk Seri Shazalli Ramly said the implementation of a strategic talent management plan is aimed at promoting individual growth from within the organization.
    "This fosters innovation and competitiveness that will contribute to Celcom's economic growth and reap significant rewards in the future as we will gain a competitive advantage in today's marketplace," he said.
    Shazalli opined the present line-up of talents assigned to lead these core divisions will place Celcom on a bolder route for greater success and stability.
