Hari Raya greetings from MCA, MIC

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel took to social media to wish 'Hari Raya Aidilfitri' to Muslims in the country.
Liow, who is Transport minister expressed his greetings through Twitter and advised road users returning home for the festive season to drive with caution and reach their destination safely.
Palanivel, who is Natural Resource and Environment minister also said through Facebook, that Malaysians were very fortunate to be able to live and celebrate every festive season in a peaceful and harmonious environment.
"I would also like to express condolences and sympathy to families and friends of MH17 victims. I pray they will remain patient and strong in their sorrow," he added.
Meanwhile, Youth and Sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin also sent Hari Raya greetings through his twitter today.
"Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. On this auspicious day, may we extend our gratitude to Allah SWT for all His blessings," he said. – Bernama
