PETALING JAYA: The CIMB Young Leaders Asean Summit 2014 will see a participation of 50 of the most outstanding university students and fresh graduates from various educational institutions in Asean.
The bi-annual summit, a joint initiative by CIMB Foundation and CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (Cari), will be held on August 15 and 16, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur after its debut in 2012.
The 50 delegates will “step into the shoes” of policy-makers to debate various regional issues relating to the ASEAN Economic Integration (AEC) and form resolutions towards that end.
This year's theme is “ASEAN as a single market: Diversity and Entrepreneurship” and the study focus will revolve around the development of SMEs and innovation in a regional context.
The summit aims to coach Asean's future leaders on regional economic integration.
