MH17: Flags to be flown at half mast on Aug 22

    KUALA LUMPUR: The Jalur Gemilang will be flown at half mast throughout the country on the Day of National Mourning on Friday.
    This was stated by the Corporate Communications Unit of the Prime Minister's Department in a statement today.
    The Day of National Mourning was declared by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in conjunction with the arrival of the remains of flight MH17 victims.
    The ceremony to receive the arrival of the remains will be held at the Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
    The MAS flight MH17, which carried 283 passengers and 15 crew members, was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, when it was shot down in Ukraine. – Bernama
