AirAsia starts daily flights from KL to Balikpapan

    SEPANG: AirAsia will start daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Balikpapan, Indonesia from Oct 16, 2014.
    At present, the airline serves the Kuala Lumpur – Balikpapan route three times weekly (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
    Balikpapan is a seaport city that is not only famous for its timber, mining and petroleum exports but also the gateway to beautiful Borneo tropical rainforest, islands, beaches, cuisine and other attractions.
    AirAsia connects Malaysia to Indonesia with more than 300 flights weekly. The airline operates direct flights to various Indonesian destinations from its Malaysian hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru, Penang and Kota Kinabalu, such as to Jakarta, Balikpapan, Bandung, Bali, Lombok, Medan, Palembang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta and others.
    AirAsia is offering special promotional all-in fares for flights from Kuala Lumpur – Balikpapan, from as low as RM189 one way.
