Thailand cabinet list endorsed by King

    BANGKOK: Thailand announced its new cabinet today after the list was endorsed by King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
    The list, published in the Royal Gazette this afternoon, includes 11 ministers from the military and one minister from the police.
    The cabinet is headed by Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha, who is also the head of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).
    The tasks that await the cabinet include reviving the economy and uniting the people who are still politically deeply divided and undertaking reforms that will enable the country to return to democracy.
    The country is still under martial law and military junta still in place, will divide the task of running the country with the new government. – Bernama
