Body of third foreign worker buried in quarry rubble found

KUANTAN: The body of the third foreign worker buried in a rubble of rocks at a quarry near Felda Bukit Sagu here was found at about 12.44am today.
The victim, Cecep Rubiyanto, 22, was found crushed under a pile of rocks near the hilltop.
According to Pahang Fire and Rescue Department public relations officer, Anuar Hassan, the victim's body was sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) Kuantan for a post-mortem.
"Following the finding, the search and rescue operation was called off early this morning," he told Bernama when contacted here today.
In the 5pm incident yesterday, two Indonesian workers and a Myanmar worker were buried by an avalanche of rocks when the victims were on their way down from the hill after finishing work.
The body of Rudi Hartono, 30, was found at 7pm while the second victim, a Myanmar national, Tang Yang Siew, 25, was found at 9.20pm yesterday. – Bernama
