Muhdalena Ahmad detained at Ayer Keroh

    JOHOR BARU: After 18 hours on the ran, Muhdalena Ahmad was re-arrested by the police at R & R Ayer Keroh, Malacca, nearly 200 km away from the Sultanah Aminah Hospital.

    The woman who allegedly ran amok with a samurai sword-wielding man outside the Prime Minister's Department's B Complex on July 9, 2012, managed to escape from the Sultanah Aminah Hospital at 9am, Thursday where she had given birth to a baby boy on Tuesday.
    Muhdalena Ahmad, 30, of Seri Kembangan, Selangor, was admitted to the hospital on Oct 19.
    Johor CID chief Datuk Hasnan Hassan in a statement said police found the woman at 3.05am Friday morning.
    Muhdalena Ahmad will be charged under section 224 Penal Code for escaping from police custody.
    Meanwhile three policemen including one woman police will be investigated for being negligent under section 223 of Penal code.
