BUTTERWORTH: A Myanmar man was found dead with head and neck injuries, believed to be strangled in a fight in a house in Taman Chai Leng, Prai early yesterday.
Penang CID chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said the body of a man called Dunai was found dumped in some bushes about 500m from his rented house.
Police received a report from an employer that two of his employees were involved in a fight at 2am. "The 56-year-old trader who lives nearby rushed to the house only to find traces of blood on the floor covered with a blanket.
"Footage from a CCTV camera at the rented house showed two employees fighting and the suspect strangled Dunai to death," he told reporters here, today.
The suspect was seen removing the body and then going back into the house to clean up the blood at the scene. Mazlan said the police are on the hunt for the suspect to assist in investigations. – Bernama
