BALING: Graduates and youths with no jobs yet should not consider themselves as unemployed because there are ample jobs offering good salary in the country, Deputy Human Resource Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Abd Muttalib said.
He said the problems of getting jobs were not the main cause of unemployment among graduates.
"They should not be choosy, which is why there is unemployment. Instead, they should be brave because more than two million foreigners are working in the country," he said when opening the 1Malaysia Azam Career Carnival here today.
He said with 14 countries supplying workers to Malaysia, it reflected the ample jobs available in the country.
More than 30 employment agencies and private companies participated in the carnival. Also present was Baling Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Abd Azeez Abd Rahim. – Bernama
