KUANTAN: Youth and Sport Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said he has confidence in Harimau Malaya coach Dollah Salleh in guiding the team in the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup tournament in Singapore from Nov 23.
He said no one should doubt whatever decision taken by the coach especially in terms of selection of players.
"I don't want to comment too much, I am confident Dollah Salleh knows what he has to do," he told reporters after launching Fit Malaysia Pahang at the Kuantan Municipal Council Field 2 here, today.
He hopes that Dollah and his players would give their best in every match in the tournament.
Malaysia, who was voted in Group B, would start its campaign by facing Myanmar on Nov 23 followed by Thailand on Nov 26.
Both matches would take place at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.

Malaysia would end its early round action by facing off against Singapore at the National Stadium, Singapore Sport Hub, on Nov 29.
Vietnam, who are are the joint host, would head the challenge in Group A with three other teams, namely Philippines, Indonesia and Laos.
Based on the championship format, the two best teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals which would be held under the reciprocal format.
In another development, Khairy said the ministry was giving priority on the hearing of the doping case of national badminton champion Datuk Lee Chong Wei.
He said other issues such as the proposal to review the function of the National Sport Institute (ISN) was not his priority.
"Whatever review we must make to the ISN will be done after Lee Chong Wei's trial is over, it is our priority now," he said.
Lee has been suspended temporarily by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) after he was found positive using the banned substance dexamenthasone when playing in the world championship in Copenhagen, Denmark in August. Lee's doping case trial is expected to start early next month. – Bernama
