Goh Brothers to open 2 more VW 3S centres up north

BUKIT MERTAJAM: Penang-based Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VW) dealer Goh Brothers Motor Sdn Bhd is to open two more sales, service and spare part (3S) centres in the northern region by end 2014.
Goh Brothers Motor executive chairman Goh Kian Sin said one will be located at Langkawi, Kedah and the other in Taiping, Perak.
He said the additional two 3S centres means they would be operating seven VW centres.
"A 4S (sales, service, spare parts, body and paint shop) centre will be opening in Batu Caves next year," he said in a media briefing yesterday.
Goh said VW vehicle owners had increased, noting they served 10,726 owners in 2012 and 17,497 owners in 2013.
"We are targeting to provide after sales service for 24,000 VW owners," he added.
Goh Brothers Motor was appointed a VW dealer in May 2007 and is part of the vehicle maker's effort to reduce service time by increasing service capacity.
