Flood victim dies at relief centre after breathing difficulty

KUALA NERUS: A male flood victim died early today at the relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kompleks Gong Badak after experiencing breathing difficulty.
Kuala Terengganu district police chief, ACP Idris Abdul Rafar said the victim, Ahmad Fadli Ismail, 37, died at about 5.10am and the case was classified as sudden death.
The victim who lived with his mother, Semek Hajat Embong, 70, was evacuated with several other residents to the relief centre on Tuesday after their homes in Taman Desa Tanjung Damai, Gong Badak, here, were inundated by flood waters.
Ahmad Fadli's body was sent to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital for a post-mortem. – Bernama
