PM makes surprise visit

KUALA LUMPUR: Delegates at the Wanita Umno general assembly received a warm surprise when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak made an appearance.
The 900 delegates stood up and gave him a rousing welcome with their cheers and claps. Najib, who is also the Umno president, spent around 15 minutes to join the delegates and sat with them.
As he was surrounded by his bodyguards, some of the delegates shouted "bodyguard tepi sikit" (move aside bodyguards) as they were blocking the delegates' from meeting Najib.
