'1WPrice' app benefits Federal Territories locals

KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territory residents of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan need no longer have to go on the ground to know the prices of essential and controlled goods as they can do so by by using an application known as "1WPrice" which can be downloaded onto their mobile phones.
Launched by the Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor today, the "1WPrice" allows consumers to save, compare and show various information in regard to prices of essential goods and other items.
Consumers can also share the information, including location of the outlets which sell goods at reasonable price, in social medias such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and Instagram.
Tengku Adnan said all that one needs to do is download the application free of charge via Android Play Store, Apple App Store and Windows Phone Store.
"Consumers only need to register their email and password to use the application," he added.
He said the application not only benefits the users but also dealers who want to input promotional items at no cost.
"It is also a platform for them to display their products and goods," he added.
Also present were Federal territories deputy minister Datuk Dr Loga Bala Mohan, Federal territories chief secretary Datuk Seri Adnan Ikshan, Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahman Phesal Talib, DBKL chairman Datuk Amin Nordin, Federal territories deputy secretary Datuk Nor Aini Wahab and Datuk Sani Mistam.
