People of Johor gather in prayer for Johor prince

JOHOR BARU: Some 2,000 people from various religious groups held special services and prayers for the well-being of Johor Laksamana Tunku Abdul Jalil who is recovering from illness overseas.
Tunku Abdul Jalil is the third son of the Johor Sultan, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
State Tourism, Domestic Trade and Consumerism executive committee chairman Datuk Tee Siew Kiong said the collective services held indicated the harmony and unity of the people of Johor.
He said, the group service is just a kick-off. He hoped all religious institutions should hold weekly special prayers for the prince.
Various religious groups took part in the service at MBJB in-door Stadium at Jalan Tebrau today including members from the Johor Buddhism Association, Calvary City Church, Catholic Church, Soka Gakkai Malaysia Johor Branch, Malaysia Hindu Sangam Johor State Council , Johor Taoism Association and Bahai Association.
