The 45-year-old singer - who launched her clothing line L.A.M.B in 2004 - has revealed her favourite fashion pieces are those she has created herself as she finds the whole design process rewarding.
The blonde beauty - who stars as a coach on singing competition 'The Voice US' - has particularly enjoyed designing her own pieces to sport on the show.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "There's been so many outfits being on [The Voice]. I really like making pieces."
"The finale piece I made yesterday was a L.A.M.B. custom, kinda chunk-some thing that we did. I made another piece that was L.A.M.B. earlier that had a little black-and-white kinda thing. Those are my favourite, they take time, there are a lot of fittings. But I love the process and kind of doing that - it's like the reward of the work."
The No Doubt star - who was crowned Style Icon of the Year at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Friday - claims her passion for design stems from playing with Barbie dolls as a youngster and wearing homemade garments crafted by her mother.
She said during her acceptance speech: "I've always loved fashion. I was a little girl, playing Barbies - my mum was the main person making clothes for me my whole life.
"Going thrift store shopping, making clothes for No Doubt. Who knew I'd be standing here getting an award for doing something that I love?" – Bang Media
