Army personnel's wife still in critical condition from blast

ALOR SETAR: The wife of the late army personnel who died in an explosion at Taman Ria Mesra on Wednesday, is still in critical condition.
Kedah Criminal Investigation Department chief ACP Mohd Nashir Ya said in a press statement that Sharifah Azlina Hashim, 30, suffered a miscarriage and remains warded in the Intensive Care Unit of the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani.
Mohd Nashir said based on the post mortem report, the army personnel, Ayub Hashim, 34, died due to multiple injuries from the explosion.
" Ayub's eight-year-old daughter Nur Idayu Syahirah died of vascular injuries.
"Aqif Mohd Sharizal, 4, a neighbour's son, died due to trauma to the head," he said here yesterday.
Mohd Nashir said Aqif's mother, Zuraida Mat Rotebe, 30, is in stable condition and she was due to undergo surgery to remove glass shards from her hand.
"Ayub's son Muhammad Idzham Syahmi Ayub, 5, suffered minor injuries to his face while Muhamad Farhan Mohammad Rusdi, 5, a neighbour's son, also suffered some minor injuries.
