Cosway sends more aid to flood victims

TEMERLOH: Cosway (M) Sdn Bhd joined a nationwide effort to help ease the plight of flood victims and handed out 400 aid packages containing food items and necessities under the Cosway brand to flood victims in Temerloh, Pahang today.
Headed by Cosway chief executive officer Yeap Dein Wah, the distribution of aid packages followed a similar activity in Kota Baru, Kelantan last week where 600 aid packages were handed out.
Cosway has also donated aid through other non-governmental organisations, such as the Welfare Association of Ministers' Wives (Bakti), to assist the public, shoppers and store operators to return to their normal lives after the floods.
About RM200,000 in cash and kind have been contributed by Cosway towards flood relief initiatives.
With over 800 stores and thousands of members nationwide, Cosway is glad to be able to lend a helping hand to those who have supported the company, and will continue its efforts to help those affected by the floods.
