Dufu: No takeover notice received

    PETALING JAYA: Dufu Technology Corp Bhd has refuted news of the group receiving a take over notice from electronics manufacturing services provider Inari Amerton Berhad.
    In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Dufu said the board is not aware of any situation that would trigger potential corporate restructuring to the group.
    "We have not received any notice of takeover by Inari or any related parties of Inari or any other party /parties interested to acquire Dufu Group," it stressed.
    Dufu is mainly involved in the development and manufacture of precision machining components for the hard disk drive, industrial safety and sensor, telecommunication and consumer electronics industries.
    It returned into the black with a net profit of RM6.99 million for the nine-month period ended Sept 30, 2014.
    Meanwhile, Dufu noted it has yet to make any decision on declaration of dividend in respect of financial year ended Dec 31, 2014, saying the dividend will only be paid out of the operating profit of the company.
    Dufu's share price rose 1 sen to 32.5 sen yesterday, with some 4.39 million shares traded.
