EVA Mendes (pix) has launched her own makeup brand.
The 'Hitch' actress is the new creative director and face of Circa, a cosmetics label from Measa Group which is set to go on sale in 3,000 Walgreens stores across the US later this month.
The brunette beauty - who welcomed a daughter, Esmeralda, with her partner Ryan Gosling in September last year - has designed the beauty line to target the Hispanic market, but insists the collection is suitable for a variety of skin tones and will "service all types of ethnicities."
The range will include over 133 shades of products from lip stains, foundations and cheek colours to mascara and eyeliner, which come in Old Hollywood-style gold packaging and retail from US$8 to US$15.
The Cuban American actress said of the collection, which will also be available online at walgreens.com and drugstore.com: "As a Latin woman, it was important to me that we create a line of products that work for all women and is accessible without compromising quality."
She added of her own experience buying beauty products: "Anything that I needed I got from a drugstore as far as beauty was concerned."
Eva, 40 - who has fronted campaigns for Revlon and Pantene in the past - has been busy promoting the line and admitted it's too soon to tell how she will cope with balancing her busy work schedule and being a mother.
She told WWD: "I have no idea [how to balance my career and motherhood]. It's a little premature to comment on that. Ask me in a few years." – Bang Media
