Ringgit opens marginally higher against US dollar

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened marginally higher against the US dollar today on mild buying support at 3.6280/6310 compared with 3.6290/5320 on Monday, a currency trader said.
The local note was traded higher against other major currencies. The ringgit appreciated against the Singapore dollar to 2.6581/6605 from 2.6590/6630 on Monday and strengthened against the British pound to 5.5741/5808 from 5.5868/5929 yesterday.
It went up against the yen to 3.0211/0243 from 3.0254/0284 on Monday and increased against the euro at 4.0565/0609 from 4.0616/0660 yesterday. – Bernama
