KUALA LUMPUR: Police have warned members of the public to stay away from an illegal gathering that has been planned in the capital city on Saturday.
Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainol Samah said the illegal gathering was against the law and action can be taken against those involved in the gathering.
"The organizers have failed to send a notice to hold the gathering as per the procedure according to the law and police can take action against anyone who pose a threat to peace and harmony," he told reporters at the Dang Wangi police headquarters, here today.
"The organizers must be responsible for anything that happens during the gathering because police have already warned them," said Zainol. – Bernama
