Harvest Court, Sagajuta terminate RM129m contract

    PETALING JAYA: Harvest Court Industries Bhd and Sagajuta (Sabah) Sdn Bhd have mutually agreed to terminate the RM129 million design and build contract for a medium cost apartment project in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
    In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Harvest Court said its wholly-owned subsidiary Harvest Court Construction Sdn Bhd (HCCSB) had entered into a cancellation agreement with Sagajuta on Jan 30, 2015 to terminate the letter of award (LOA) in relation to the appointment of HCCSB as the design and build contractor for the project.
    Under the LOA dated Nov 21, 2011, HCCSB was to undertake the design and construction for the proposed construction and completion of a 28-storey medium cost apartment block with eight units of two-storey shoplots, one level of common facilities podium and five levels of carparking floors at Jalan Sulaman in Kota Kinabalu.
