All set for Monday's opening of third session of 13th Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR: The full dress rehearsal of Monday's opening of the third session of the 13th Parliament went smoothly here today.
Members of the guard-of-honour, from the First Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment, were in the compound of Parliament House as early as 9am and went through their paces.
All preparations have been finalised for the opening by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, at the Banquet Hall of Parliament House at 10am.
Today's rehearsal encompassed all events in accordance with the ceremonial customs and protocol, including the inspection of the guard-of-honour made up of four officers and 30 men.
The Dewan Rakyat is scheduled to sit from March 9 to April 9 and the Dewan Negara, from April 13 to 28. – Bernama
