Perak Sultan chairs 237th meeting of Conference of Rulers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, today chaired the 237th meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara, here.
The two-day meeting, from yesterday, is being attended by all the Malay rulers except the Sultan of Pahang, who is represented by the Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, while Johor is not represented.
All the Yang di-Pertua Negri are also attending the meeting.
The royal rulers were accompanied at the meeting by their menteris besar, while the Yang di-Pertua Negri of Malacca, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak were accompanied by their respective chief ministers. – Bernama
