SEPANG: A flight bound for Singapore from klia2 was delayed by two hours after crew of an airline found what appeared to be a severed finger today.
It is learnt that the stewardesses of a Tiger Air flight were tidying up their aircraft after it landed at the airport at about 4pm, preparing it for the next scheduled flight to Singapore.
However, a stewardess was startled when she spotted an object which later turned out to be a prosthetic finger.
Sources said the air crew alerted police who sent their forensic unit to investigate the report.
It is believed that a passenger on an earlier flight may have accidentally dropped the prosthetic finger.
The flight resumed its journey at 6pm after police gave air crew the all-clear.
It is yet to be ascertained if the dud body part was returned to its owner.
