Tour bus catches fire in Tamparuli

KOTA KINABALU: Fire razed a tour bus in Kampung Kapa, Tamparuli, here, close to midnight, last night.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Department public relations officer Mohd Affendy K. Ramin said the tour bus owned by Tay Travel was heading to Ranau from here to pick up passengers when the fire broke out.
He said the Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 11.59pm, and firemen in a fire engine, arrived at the scene 13 minutes later to put out the fire.
There were only the bus driver and a tourist guide in the bus when the incident occured, he added. – Bernama
