Sarawak PGA seizes 480 mangrove logs in Lundu

KUCHING: The General Operations Force (PGA) Sarawak Brigade seized 480 mangrove logs of various sizes in Lundu near here at 11.50am today.
Commanding Officer of the brigade's 11th Battalion, Supt Soh Hock Seng said the illegal logging activities were traced after two weeks of intelligence work by the unit.
"We have seized an excavator, 480 mangrove logs of various sizes aged between 50 and 60 years old, two chainsaws, a boat and a 15hp engine with total value of about RM217,720," he told Bernama, here today. – Bernama
