PETALING JAYA: Residents in Petaling Jaya can now forward their complaints to the city council via a new Facebook page set up recently.
"This is the first in Malaysia where residents can make complaints through Facebook," said Bukit Gasing assemblyman, Rajiv Rishyakaran in a press conference today.
Complaints can be made by messaging, uploading photos and videos, which is easier to do compared to other more conventional methods.
"If there is no feedback on the complaints within one week, the complainant can use the escalation system where they can bring the complaint to the director, the deputy mayor if exceeds two weeks, and to the mayor if it is more than three weeks," said Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) councillor Sean Oon Chong Ling.
