Najib leaves China after two-day working visit

BOAO, China: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak (pix) left for Kuala Lumpur today after a two-day working visit to Boao, Hainan in China.
The Prime Minister and his delegation left from the Haikou Meilan International Airport, Hainan, in a special aircraft at 12.20pm. Present to send the prime minister off were Malaysia's Ambassador to China Datuk Zainuddin Yahya and Malaysia's Consul-General in Guangzhou, Muzambli Markam.
Najib, who is also Finance Minister, was here to attend the Boao Forum for Asia 2015, which is modelled after the World Economic Forum held annually in Davos, Switzerland.
The Forum has a fixed address in Boao, a town located next to the eastern coastal city of Qionghai in Hainan, China. During his short visit here, Najib also had a bilateral meeting with China's President, Xi Jinping, which further strengthened bilateral ties between Beijing and Putrajaya. – Bernama
