Girl injured by alleged road bully

    PETALING JAYA: A video of a 27-year-old girl allegedly assaulted by a taxi driver at a petrol station at Jalan Persiaran Kayangan in Section 7 Shah Alam has gone viral on social media.
    According to Shah Alam police chief ACP Azisman Alias, the incident happened on March 29 and started after an accident between their cars at about 3.30pm.
    Azisman added that both the girl and the cabbie lodged police reports at Shah Alam police station and the girl's father who also turned up later at the police station assaulted the taxi driver.
    "The taxi driver will be investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code and under Section 323 of the Penal Code," added Azisman.
    During the road rage incident, the girl was with her friends and her uncle.
    The images of the girl's injured face also went viral on websites and social media.
    Her uncle uploaded the images of the taxi with its registration number on the day itself and it got a stream of criticisms from angry Malaysians.
    In the 1.02-minute video, it can seen that a fight between the girl and the taxi driver started when their vehicles grazed.
    Voices of people shouting can also be heard in the video.
    The girl was later brought to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang for a medical check-up.
