PANASONIC Malaysia has launched its 2015 product line-up introducing a sparkling range of 4K TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and fan. Conceived with the goal of enriching the lives of Malaysian families through an eco, healthy and comfortable lifestyle, the new additions are an extension of its wide range of products that are already available.
Panasonic Malaysia managing director Yosuke Matsunaga said that "society today is more alert and sensitive towards the performance of its household products.
The key determining factor when it comes to purchasing electronic products is more on energy-saving requirements and comfort."
Besides being equipped with the latest and most innovative technologies, the new product line-up is also aesthetically captivating, donning a sleeker silhouette that is more sophisticated. Ultimately, the new products are designed to deliver high-quality performance that provides exceptional comfort and convenience to consumers, while minimising impact on the environment.
"Panasonic will continually introduce new and enhanced products to fit into the homes of Malaysians. This is to ensure that we only offer consumers products with maximum performance efficiency," added Matsunaga.
The latest products from Panasonic include:
4K ULTRA HD SERIES TELEVISIONS
Four new models will be added to the Panasonic 4K Ultra HD series namely X940, CX700, CX600 and CX400. These televisions deliver four times the resolution of fully HD TVs. It offers a wider option for consumers to select a next generation, high resolution TV with high definition visual to suit their lifestyle. Panasonic Malaysia consumer marketing & customer service director Takaaki Uehara said, "Although 4K HD TVs were relatively new a few years ago, it has picked up awareness in Malaysia." In fact, Panasonic is expecting a 500% growth rate for 4K HD TVs in 2015. The company will simultaneously focus on growing this business to produce a wider range in the near future, to enhance the customer's viewing experience based on the key message that "users experience is everything".
The features of the latest models include superior picture quality, enhanced Smart TV features, voice interaction, innovative features like TV Anytime which lets you access your TV from a tablet or smartphone, wherever you may be and more.
WASHING MACHINES
The new line-up of top- and front-load washing machines is equipped with Econavi technology which saves energy and water. The top-load models are able to save up to 27% of water and up to 25% of electricity, while the front-load versions can save up to 52% of water and up to 85% of electricity, all thanks to the innovative inverter technology.
Other outstanding features include the intelligent wash load sensor and temperature sensor, superior washing performance, new product design for the top-load models with back control panel which offers convenience to users, allowing them to reach the bottom of the tub with ease, and more.
REFRIGERATORS
The new side-by-side refrigerator is equipped with an inverter compressor which adjusts the energy output accordingly, ultimately saving energy.
Another amazing feature is the optimum cooling performance due to the twin cooling system, which has independent cooling airflow for both fridge and freezer compartments.
As a result, the fridge maintains a highly humid environment in its area to keep food fresh while the cooling power technology concentrated in the freezer section enables faster freezing.
CEILING FAN
Also equipped with the Econavi function and temperature sensor, this new ceiling fan is designed to save energy (up to 64%) while providing optimum indoor comfort. The machine picks up the surrounding temperature every three minutes and automatically adjusts its speed accordingly, to maintain a comfortable surrounding for the users.
Other features include the DC motor which saves another 55% of energy, the unique Yuragi feature which mimics natural breeze and enhanced safety features.
PANASONIC HEADLINES
After two years at the helm, it was announced at the launch that Yosuke Matsunaga will be stepping down as Panasonic Malaysia managing director. Effective April 1, Cheng Chee Chung, who formerly held the deputy managing director position, will take over. With 26 years of experience in Panasonic, Cheng will be the 12th MD of the Japanese sales & marketing arm of the Panasonic brand. Taking up his (Cheng's) former position is Hiroyuki Muto, who has been with Panasonic for 29 years, seeing to several capacities throughout various parts of the Asia Pacific.
