FREIBURG, Germany: An 18-year-old man went on trial Wednesday for the murder of a man he suspected of raping his sister, a prosecutor in Freiburg said.
The man, who was 17 at the time, is accused of ambushing his sister's alleged rapist in a parking lot in the town of Neuenburg am Rhein and stabbing him 23 times.
The 27-year-old victim died at the scene.
The defendant's 48-year-old father is also on trial as an accomplice to the murder.
